Principal's Message

I am thrilled to introduce myself as the new principal of South Central Elementary, having begun this incredible journey on July 1, 2024. It is an honor to lead a school with such a dedicated staff, engaged students, and a supportive community. Together, we will continue to build on our tradition of excellence while embracing new opportunities for growth and innovation.

 

At South Central, we pride ourselves on offering a robust curriculum that meets the diverse needs of all our students. We are particularly excited about our enhanced Structured Literacy program, designed to provide our students with a strong foundation in reading and writing. Through this program, we are committed to ensuring that every child develops the critical literacy skills needed to succeed academically and beyond.

 

In addition to our academic offerings, we have undergone a total rebrand of our Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) program during the summer of 2024. Our revitalized PBIS framework is designed to foster a positive, inclusive school culture where every student feels safe, respected, and encouraged to succeed. We are confident that these changes will have a lasting, positive impact on our school environment.

 

As we move forward, I want to emphasize the importance of collaboration and open communication. I firmly believe that the best ideas come from working together, and I welcome conversations and feedback from our families, community members, and stakeholders. Your insights are invaluable as we continuously seek ways to improve and enrich the educational experience for our students.
